Dental emergencies sometimes give no warning to the individual. If you require any urgent dental treatment, have pain or some discomfort then Southside Dental Care has one of our sympathetic dentists and their team especially rostered on daily to help you.
In these clinics the dedicated dentist will try to relieve you of your pain, and solve the problem during your initial visit. This will depend on the state of the tooth, infection or cause of the problem.
Emergency spaces are limited and although we will usually accommodate dental emergencies on the same day or within 24 hours, it is based on first come first served. All Emergency Appointments will be booked over the phone and we ask that patients do not turn up without an appointment, as we may not be able to see you then and there.
If you require an Emergency Dentist outside of Southside Dental Care’s working hours then please call the NHS 24 Helpline after 6pm on weekdays and all day weekends on 111.
If you do suffer from acute dental pain, it is important that this is attended to immediately. Delaying treatment could make the situation far worse.
Emergency Appointments for non-registered patients – £100 – this will cover whatever needs to be done in surgery that day. You are welcome to register with the practice after.
